WHAT TO DO?

Okay, so I need the help of all you star parents out there. What do you do with a three year old that screams at you all day long? Sometimes I try to step back and look at the situation and see if it is something I am doing. I know I raise my voice with him that is my job, right? When I say raise my voice I mean firm. I am at a lost, with what to do with him. I know they say parent out of love but when I try that I feel like I am being a push over. I know that Rossi and I are pretty much the same person just different bodies. So maybe that is what it is. I would like to think that I am a pretty easy going Mom, I try to give him an environment rich with activities for him to mess and be creative. However, as soon as I try to tell him no, he just lashes out at me. Ross (husband) keeps telling me it is just his age, I feel that if you don't correct the behavior when they're younger than it will only get worse. The part that breaks my heart the most is I spend most of my day correct or arguing with Rossi, that sweet Annie just falls to the side. And this breaks my heart because she truly is the sweetest baby I have ever met. She just crawls around and claps and giggles whenever anyone talks to her. I need some helpful advice. Anyone know Super Nanny?

NOW WE ARE REALLY CRAZY!!!!!

Okay, so after all of our other dog mishaps, we did it again we got another dog. After, great debate we got another Doberman. He is a red which I think he actually looks like a chocolate lab. He is beautiful. Ross and I went back and forth on names. He wanted to name him Gunnar and I wanted Chance because I said he is our last chance for a second dog. We went with Reese because he looks like a peanut butter cup. I know that probably sounds corny but it fits him. So his full name is Reese Chance.

Keep in mind Baxter is still a puppy look at the difference in size. Baxter is only nine months old, Reese is eight weeks.

Rossi is in love with this little guy.

Even though we have a little puppy, Baxter is still my lap dog.

Kids do the darndest things

Caution: The first picture is a little gross!!! But hey Rossi cracked his first egg. I was in the living room and he came running and told me to come and see what he did. I came in to the kitchen and couldn't believe my eyes he was mixing everything in our frig. I asked him "is that an egg?" He said "Yes" I then asked "Where's the shell?" His response "In the trash" I was blown away he managed to crack an egg and not get any shell in his mixture. His recipe in case anyone wants to know: Corn starch, baking soda, water, cinnamon swirl cereal, grapes, chips, egg, BBQ sauce and Tabasco sauce.

Wearing my shin guards now that I am playing or should I say almost dieing on the field.

This was a fun activity corn starch and water. He added his cars which was a perfect representation of the snow outside.

Okay, so Annie has turned into a little giggle box. She is laughing and smiling from sun up to sun down. Here she is cracking up at her daddy. She has started clapping her hands now too.

Here Rossi Built a helicopter, I was pretty impressed. I helped a little with the top but he did the base all by himself.

I had to keep Annie on the other side because she likes to get into her brother things.

Curls

Okay, so I never thought in a million years that I would be so excited to have a little kid with curly hair. I think it is because of the torture I went through as a child and I never wanted my children to go through what I did but after seeing Rossi's curls after a bath I am in love. We took these pictures a couple of weeks ago, we have now cut his hair. I hated to see his curls go but they were getting our of control. We just need to find a bigger setting for the clippers. Anyway, just wanted to share the after bath curls with everyone.

I think these two pictures are my favorite. His personality shines through.

Sunbeam

Jesus wants me for a sunbeam, to shine for Him each day. In every way try to please Him at home at school at play.

Are just a few of the words of the song but I cannot believe that little Ross is a big sunbeam now at church. He still seems so little to me but I had to dress him up like a big boy since he is in Primary. Oh and I couldn't let Annie not be photographed in this darling little dress. She looks like a little doll.

O-H-I-O

Okay, so as sad as we all are I wanted to post the pictures of my little Buckeyes. My mom got Annie her first cheerleader uniform so I wanted to make sure I captured the moment. Plus, little Ross always looks good in Scarlet and Gray. That all being said can I just say how heart broke I am for our Buckeyes. Did anyone else see the pure determination in those boys last night? I told Ross when they scored their last touchdown that they looked like they were playing Buckeye football. Dang the last two minutes. Anyway, I am glad that it wasn't a blow out like everyone was saying it was going to be. Our boys deserve a lot of credit for the four years that they put in. Here's to next year. Oh, yeah COME BACK BEANIE!!!!!
