Annie's New Bed

So Annie needed a new bed, so I got creative. My sister gave me a mattress that was taking up the floor space and I couldn't handle it. I just kept think what can you do with that space wasting under there. So the pictures below explain it step by step.

First I got free milk crates from the recenter, next packed can goods along with other foods around the crates, placed a backer board that was left over from a project from many years ago on top to protect the food. After that I put a shear on top to cover the food and last I put the mattress on. Oh and the sheet was $2 from a thrift store. Needless to say I was pretty tickled with the bed or should I say my second pantry.

The Newest Member

So, while I was at work on Thursday my friend Amanda had this little kitty follow her to the center. Me being the softy gave in and welcomed this little stray. The children absolutely love her. Rossi calls her Sour. So, I guess she will be our little "Sour Puss"

Almost a Year heres an update

So, here are some random things we have been up to. I also realized that the children have changed so much so I figured I would update it if anyone looks at my blog. Rossi looks and acts so grown , Annie is looking more like a toddler and less like a baby. I have been so busy with my babysitting and rec center job. Thinking back I stopped blogging when I started working there or maybe it has something with Katie moving back. I however realized that it is great way to tell the world about my children and my life. Plus, it is a great way to see what your friends are up to.

Rossi with a play gun, he is your typical 4 year old boy into good guy bad guy play.
We have had many trips to my friend Autumn's parents house and there Rossi learned to ride a 4wheeler.
My Mom and I took the kids to VA Beach to visit my cousin Lindsey.
Me and Annie, she is a hand full but very precious to me.
Ross and Rossi with Reese.
We took a mini family trip to the indoor water park by our house.

This was the day of Annie's birthday. I love this picture.
The last two pictures are just for showing off my babies.
Annie is wearing this headband because she thinks its "pretty"

I have been enjoying myself for the past year. I have discovered that it is great to be a mother but also great to find yourself, this past year has been one of those years. I feel like I have become more spiritual which you cannot go wrong with that. Having personal time to pray and study your scriptures can truly help you through your day. I have enjoyed working out with my friend Katie at 6 am every morning rain snow or ice. That is how I survived the winter. It also help me train for the half marathon we did in May. Reading is becoming something I am starting to enjoy. However, I now know why people get so mad when people make movies out of books, it is because the movie never does the book justice. Anyway, this is my little update maybe my next blog won't have such a big break.

Random Things

The march on D.C., my friend Autumn talked me into this and I am sure happy that she did. It was a blast and made thankful for my right to protest even if the president flew to Minnesota, so he wouldn't have to be there to actually see that there were 1.7 million people that didn't agree with him.
Okay so this was a nice painting idea that turned into body painting. You can always count on children to take it in a whole other direction. Rossi is a monster here. Doesn't he look scary?

Annie is the one that started the body painting.

The kids in the box from the toilet that I installed by myself. I am still excited about that.

A church dance where you were suppose to dress from decades ago. My husband is supporting the nineties.

The children enjoying a dance with daddy.

This is Rossi dancing with Ellie. She wanted to dance with him so bad, he gave in for a moment then he realized that his leg hurt so he took off running. You have to laugh about that. I am sure one day he is going to be knocking on her door for a date.

Me (i was trying to pull off the 70's) I think I had the wrong dress for the era but It was cute and cheap from a thrift store. It was vintage. My friend Autumn and Katie both nailed the 80's.

The kids showing us their food. Rossi took me seriously that is why you only see his plate.

Uncle Colin stopped by on his way back to Utah and took what I was hoping for was a good family picture, this was the end result.
Family night at the zoo, I got to take my niece Josie and my nephew Gavin. It was a blast.

TBDBITL

Okay so thanks to my wonderful employer they got me tickets to see the OSU marching band. Tom was nice enough to not only get me tickets but he also reserved me a table. Since my husband and family were unable to go I got to take some of my friends. Okay so when I say Tom reserved me a table I mean we had the best seats in the the place. It was kind of funny I don't know how many times workers asked us if we a had a table in the area, lets just say we probably looked out of place. We were the only ones in the area with children. Anyway, I had an awesome time and it totally got me pumped for football season.Trying hard to get a picture by the sign but it was the end of the night. I didn't realize that Rossi pants were undone.

I love this picture. I am so happy that Katie and her four boys are back.

The Rehl's.

At the end of the night they put of fireworks. The kids loved it!!!

I love Ross and Reid's faces in this picture.

Ross took the camera and snapped these two pictures of Parker and Ellie. Not to bad since it was pitch dark.

Here the Drum Major took the kids to do script OHIO and I wanted Rossi to run but he told me no because he was "in the marching band" He took this very serious.

Look at how close we were to them.

Rossi is all smiles.

So, is Grayden cute or what? Oh yeah the other boys are too.

Even though my husband couldn't be there I had some pretty cute dates.
