My little athlete

Ross has really gotten into sports. We are playing baseball here, even though he is wearing a bike helmet and using a tennis racket. Hey, whatever works. One funny thing he has come up with is saying "Glove It!" instead of "Catch it" This is all from watching one baseball game on the television.

Using the Swiffer

Here Ross is learing that he can use the Swiffer.
He found the button.
Here I am telling him to stop pushing the button, hey that stuff isn't cheap.

Funtimes at the Park

This is one reason why I like Ross working third shift. I get an extra set of helping hands in the morning.

Little Ross loved hearing his Daddy's voice on the other end.

Funtimes in Dayton

My mom loves being a Grandma.

After a long day, he cannot even eat the cheese crackers. (baby managed to eat one though) He fell asleep while holding the box.

Walks to look at flowers with his Booger, something I have always enjoyed with my dad too.

Preschool! Preschool! Preschool!

Okay, so today I have been checking around for preschools or something of the sorts for Ross. I have soon discovered that they can be expensive. The best deal I have seen is the YMCA. Another problem I am struggling with his age. He is one of the odd fall babies that I think would not be eligible for another year. The thing is I know he needs something. I have been thinking of doing my own little thing out of my home but I want him to be away from me too. Any suggestions? One thing I was thinking that all my lovely talented blogging buddies might be interested in getting something going as a group, trades off or something. I know that some of the women are doing the Joy School thing but I still think he is too young for it also. Please, give me any suggestions or ideas that you might have for me. Thanks

Looking more Like Daddy Everyday

Annie looks so much like Ross, it makes me sick. I guess it is a good thing that I think my husband is beautiful. Maybe one day I will have one that looks like me.

Wearing my High Heels

One day little Ross will be so thankful when I pull these out for his future wife to see.

Feeding "Baby"

Okay, so Little Ross is very attached to his blanket. He is so attached that it has a name and according to him it is a boy. So whenever he is eating, he will gladly give Baby some too. The funny thing he honestly thinks baby eats it. Little does he know when he is not looking I throw it away. Just today in church he got upset with his real friend Ellie because she kept taking Baby's food. He then hide the food under baby so she couldn't find it to take it from "him" I just thought this was something I could not let go undocumented. I just love his imagination.

Here are some yummy cookies and crackers.

Here he feed him grapes.

Cropped or Should I say Chopped

This week we got Baxter's ears cropped. For some reason I had no idea they cut the ears. It broke my heart to see this, now I know why people don't do it. I know this is the breed standard but I would not do it again. He is still a cute little guy though, I am sure it will heal nicely.

Picture This

So today I had the bright idea of taking my three little ones on a walk. My Friend Amber gave little Ross one of those orange Fisher Price cars, so he decided that he wanted to drive it, bad idea number one. Then I thought I will bring Baxter, he needs practice on a leash, bad idea number two. The only good idea was Annie in the stroller. So we start off down the street and Little Ross is Flinstone it as well as he can. Honestly, it took twenty minutes to get pass four houses. I should have turned around at this point but no I was determined to get in a walk. So we chug along with Baxter pulling in every direction. He then decides to take a number two, crap I forgot a bag. So I am trying to drag him so he would not go in someones yard, nope it was in someones driveway. I felt so bad, but at this time Ross is screaming because he doesn't want to push is car. Did I mention, since he was free to move about he had to stop and pick up every stick. So, we got to the end of our street and only had three more to go until we got back home. Lets just say there were many times when I was tempted to ditch the car and keep going. I even tried to wrap Baxter's leash around it so he could drag it, that didn't work because it just kept hitting me in the legs. I even encouraged Ross to push the stroller so I could push the car, that didn't last long either. However, when we got to the third street, the lady that lives behind us was out cleaning her porch, I asked her if I could throw the car over the fence into our yard because there was no way I could go anymore with this car in tow. She was nice enough to throw it over for me. So the third street was a breeze after that. Little Ross was anxious to get home so I kept promising him a flavor ice. So, he started to run and before I knew it he fell and scratched his knees. We made it home, with one scratched knee, two sweaty bodies, and minus one car. Just a side note Annie slept the entire time.

My Little Sumo

Annie had her check up and she is one big girl. She tipped the scales at 13 lbs. That put her in the 88 percentile for her age. Little Ross has never gotten out of the 60's for anything. I am so happy that she is growing so well. However, she needs to slow down so she doesn't grow out of her summer clothes.
